Dams
Norway is blessed with gigantic water resources. 95% of the electricity production is coming from hydro power and this makes the hydro dams a stable source of quality water.
Our dams are all on the western coast where climate change leads to more rain (see below river discharge anomaly for the summer of 2022).
The dams have sufficient water, alimented by rain and snow from the mountains. It is today discarded and flushed into the fjords after it has run through the turbines creating electric hydro power. These volumes of water could serve a second time as massive reserve tanks for regions hit by drought.
Turbines
All water is delivered after the turbines producing renewable electricity. Average waterflow from the sources range between 6 and 22 cubic meters per second.

Mooring
The mooring procedure fast the ship with a fixed or a floating object (Jetty, pier, ship, barge, buoy etc.) to ensure the cargo operations and secure the vessel in the preferred location. The mooring operation demands teamwork both from ship’s and port crew.

Tankers
Our shipping partner has a fleet of close to 50 chemical tankers
Size range from 19,000 dwt to 35,000 dwt (out of a total of ~550 vessels in the stainless steel segment)
The vessels are all built with cargo tanks made of stainless steel which ensures that there is no absorption
Tanks comply with strict cleanliness standard for shipping of food products as defined by industries bodies like FOSFA, INTERTANKO or IMPCA.
